So Apple "FINALLY" gets with the program.

Finally an Apple mouse with more than one button.

I am simply astounded that Apple finally released a mouse that breaks the one button barrier. Actually, I’m astounded by the tenacity required to hold out as long as they did. Still, its no Logitech MX-518.

Sadly, as much as I admire Apple the only connection I now have to them is my iPod. Perhaps the forth coming Mac Intels will change my mind, but some how I doubt Apple’s prices will change significantly or at least come close to Dell’s offerings.  I’ve also become accustomed to building my own box. I enjoy selecting a motherboard, CPU, Video Card, etc. and then assembling it all… a pleasure I never received as a Mac user where upgrades essentially mean purchase a newer model.

Switched to Comcast Cable

Bellsouth’s FastAccess continued unreliability prompted my switch to Comcast Cable.

Reoccurring line noise, is now what comes to mind when someone mentions Bellsouth FastAccess. The line noise affected voice calls and degraded the performance of FastAccess DSL. I’d contacted Bellsouth several times with this issue. Each time it was fixed only to occur again a few months later. This constant back and forth to get the service to work as expected simply became tiresome.

Finally, I switched to Comcast Cable for internet service. I purchased the D-link DCM-202 cable modem as I don’t believe in renting a modem. Anyway, thus far I am beyond impressed with Comcast’s service, had I known just how much faster cable was I would have switched long ago. The Comcast installer performed an excellent job of running a fresh line to the house.

Thus far I’ve had two Xboxes playing Halo 2 on Live while my PC has been downloading work files. Here’s hoping the services stays this good.

Testing core of new site.

I am currently testing the first portion of my Expresion Engine templates. I am fully aware none of the links work yet… I am working out the kinks with the primary template before moving on.

First Entry

I’ve decided to go with the Expression Engine and work on building a personalized template. This may take some time.
